Description

In this course, we're going to take an introductory look at the rigging tools inside of Blender. The goal of this in-depth course is to give you a strong foundation in Blender's powerful rigging toolset. We'll begin by learning about the basics of rigging like parenting, and move on to bone placement, the importance of bone orientation, how to utilize shape keys to create basic facial expressions for a character, and how to create corrective shape keys to fix deformation issues on a rig. We'll also learn about Blender's Weight Painting tools, and how to set up drivers to create a more animator-friendly rig, and how to use Blender's mirroring functions to speed up the entire rigging process. Whether you're new to Blender or just new to the rigging process, this course will provide you with the skills you need to get started.
