Hi everyone, my name is Kevin Henry, CISA, and welcome to this course Information Systems Auditor – the Process of Auditing.

I am a security evangelist and trainer at team cymru.

This is the first of five courses in this series to prepare you for ISACA’s Certified Information Systems Auditor Examination and to prepare you to perform information systems audits.

In this course, we are going to examine the knowledge necessary to be an effective information systems auditor and provide value to your organization as an internal auditor or audit consultant.

Some of the major topics that we will cover include:

  1. Audit standards and practices
  2. Planning and scheduling an information systems audit
  3. Audit tools, techniques and methodologies
  4. Preparing an audit report and delivering the results to management
By the end of this course or By the end this course, you’ll be well on your way to tackling ISACA’s CISA certification examination.

Having prior experience in audit and a knowledge of information systems is desireable but not required to benefit from this course.
