Hi everyone, my name is Nejc Kilar and I'd like to welcome you to my course Cinema 4D Rendering Fundamentals.

I am a 3D Generalist / Artist with experience in architectural visualization, product visualization and similar fields.

This course is designed to cater to all of you who are just starting out with Cinema 4D or with computer generated imagery as a whole. We've got you covered if this is your first time dabbling with rendering software or you'd just like to know the fundementals of rendering inside Cinema 4D. We made sure to include the core knowledge that you'll need to know to get comfortable with rendering in Cinema 4D and we've also made sure to include a bunch of workflow tips in order to make life easier for you as you progress towards becoming a rendering guru.

Some of the major topics that we will cover include:

  • The rendering process as a whole
  • We'll cover both the viewport rendering workflow as well as the production rendering workflow with the picture viewer
  • And dive into the common render settings
  • We'll also talk about how rendering an animation is different than rendering still images
  • And we'll top it all off by diving deeper into the different rendering techniques and effects that will be essential to your workflow

By the end of this course, you’ll know_what rendering as a process is, you'll know how to use Cinema 4D's advanced rendering capabilities and you'll be comfortable experimenting on your own.

Before beginning the course you should be familiar with the very basics of working in Cinema 4D such as viewport navigation and the layout of the software itself. Knowing basic material settings is welcome but not at all neccessary as we'll guide you step by step throughout the entire course.

I hope you’ll join me on this journey to learn about the fundamentals of rendering with the Cinema 4D Rendering Fundamentals course, at Pluralsight.
