Hi everyone, my name is Eric Lee and welcome to my course Animate CC Animation Techniques.

I am the Animation Director at Steelehouse Productions.

Animate CC is an industry standard tool for creating great looking frame by frame hand drawn animation.

In this course, we are going to cover the 12 principles of animation and how to use them over the course of several fun animation exercises.

Some of the major topics that we will cover include:

  • Basic techniques for achieving smooth, appealing animation
  • Designing a character for animation
  • Animating a shot with full body mechanics
  • Animating a nuanced facial reaction
By the end of this course you’ll know how to harness the principles of animation in order to create great, compelling animation.

Before beginning the course you should be familiar with using a graphics tablet.

I hope you’ll join me on this journey to learn 2D animation with the Animate CC Animation Techniques course, at Pluralsight.
